Cozy Cabins
What’s the location of Warredal?
Warredal is located in Neeroeteren, a part of Maaseik, and is therefore easily accessible by car from Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany. The correct address is Ketelstraat 77, 3680 Maaseik. It’s will take you approximately 1h15 from Brussels, 1h30 from Cologne and less than an hour from Eindhoven – to reach our destination.
Do you rather prefer public transportation? Take the train to Genk station. From there you can take bus 11 to Maaseik, until you reach “Neeroeteren Op den Berg”. From there it’s a 10 minute walk to Warredal.
Where can I park my car?
When you arrive at Warredal, you will see a spacious, private parking where you can park your car for free. At check-in you receive a badge from us, so you can always re-enter the parking. In order to guarantee tranquility, we only allow cars on the parking area.
How will I reach my cabin?
The cabins are located on a higher level in the woods. Upon arrival you and your luggage will be dropped off by our team to the cabin with a golf cart. During the ride you will get some explenation about the resort itself. After the drop off you’ll need to walk to and from your car yourself. We only arrange pickups upon request. Please note, it is quite a walk to and from the cabins to the parking lot!
Will I pay a warranty upon arrival ?
At check-in, a warranty of € 50.00 is reserved on your credit card. If no damage has been determined, the reservation will be cancelled after your stay. However, if damage or loss is determined, then a part or all of the deposit will be deducted.
Is there electricity in the cabin?
There is only limited electricity in our cabins. For example, there are some light points in the sleeping area and the bathroom. Our bathroom is heated with an electric towel radiator. Most cabins also have one free socket available.
What are the cooking options inside the cabin?
In the kitchen of the cabin you can find all the basic cooking equipment (cutlery, glasses, pots, pans etc…) to prepare a delicious meal! Coffee drinkers can use the Biatelli Coffee pot located in their cabin. There is NO microwave.
Is there a fridge in the cabin?
There is no fridge in the cabins. We have opted for a more ecological solution: a cool box. The box can be kept cool by using cooling elements. These elements can be picked up (and returned) free of charge at the Food & Wood corner.
Can I make coffee in my cabin?
Each cabin is equipped with a Bialetti Moka Express percolator. Don’t forget to bring your own ground coffee!
Do I have to bring my own bedding?
It is not necessary to bring your own bed linen. The beds are made with fresh sheets! Each person also has its own single comforter. If you bring a travel bed for children, it is best to bring their bed linen.
Do I bring my own towels?
Bath towels are always included. We provide a small and a large towel for each person, as well as a bath mat.
What if I travel with a baby?
If you are traveling with your baby, you can order a baby kit (baby’s between 0-1 y) from us for the entire stay. This package consists of a baby tent, a high chair and a safety fence for around the wood-fire stove. You can order this package here. (depending on availability).
The baby tent is EU approved bed and includes an inflatable mattress and anti-mosquito net that can be closed off completely. The bed will be placed on top of one of the beds. Please ensure that you do not exceed the maximum number of people in the cabin. For example, if you are staying in a Sweet Cabin with 2 adults and want to take a baby with you, you must book a larger cabin.

Can I rent a bike at Warredal?
Yes, of course! Warredal is located close to Bergerven Nature Reserve. This means endless walking and cycling routes. You can always rent a bicycle at the reception (upon availability). You can also purchase cycling and walking maps from us.
Can I bring my pet?
We allow only 1 dog per cabin for a small fee per night, you can indicate bringing a dog when you make the booking. Please note that dogs are only allowed in the Classic Cabins and the regular Tree Trunks. Your pet can only enter the Cabin when indicated in the booking, we advise you to bring your pets crate or blanket along. Dogs are not allowed to sleep on the beds/couches in the cabins.
What time can I check in?
Check-in is possible between 3:00 pm and 7:00 pm. If you are unexpectedly delayed, we kindly ask you to inform us by calling us on number 0032 (0)89 85 23 16.
If you cannot arrive between the standard check-in times, there is the option to book a late check-in option for € 40.00. This option gives you the opportunity to arrive later in the evening, between 8:00 PM and 10:00 PM. Make sure you check in before 10:00 pm, because after this it is no longer possible.
To book the late check-in option, select the option when making your reservation.
We do however, recommend that you arrive as early as possible so that you have enough time to settle down in your cabin, light the stove and watch the beautiful sunset here at the Warredal!
What time can I check out?
Check-out is between 9:00 AM and 10:30 AM.
Can I park the car closer to the cabin when I check out?
While it’s impossible to drive your car to the cabin, you can briefly use the parking at the entrance of the Bergerven Nature Reserve. This parking is located next to the climbing park (close to cabin 1). Please do not use this parking as your standard parking!

What are the additional costs when booking my accomodation?
For each booking we charge € 29.50 administration fees. Tourist tax is always paid on the spot. For adults and children older than 12 years it’s € 2 per day /person.
Is there WiFi on the domain?
We have deliberately chosen not to install WiFi in the cabins, because this is not part of our philosophy. The only places with WiFi connection are the Cozy Tipi and the reception.
Is Warredal wheelchair friendly?
Where can I buy my groceries?
You can buy some necessities like ground coffee, milk, local wine and snacks at the front desk. The most nearby grocery store is about 3 km from here.
Do I have to bring my own wood?
A number of logs are already provided on your cabin upon arrival. In our Food & Wood corner you can find extra wood. You’re free to use it. Are the blocks a little too big for the stove? You will be able to chop them into smaller pieces using the ax located in the corner.
Is breakfast included?
For a minimum stay of 3 nights, a delicious breakfast will be offered from 8:15 am on the first morning of your stay. You can pick up this breakfast in our Food & Wood corner. If you would like to book breakfast for the other mornings, you can contact the reception.
Where can I barbecue?
Each cabin has a private gas barbecue located on the terrace. You can either bring your own meat and vegetables or you can order a barbecue package. This contains different kinds of meat, all kinds of salads, sauces and sandwiches. Please note, packages are delivered on Tuesday, Thursday or Saturday.
There is also the possibility to rent our cozy barbecue house, perfect for a hangout with friends or family! For more information, contact us via info@warredal.be.
In July and August we organize barbecue happenings on Wednesday evenings and Sunday afternoons in the Cozy Tipi. Your kids can play along with other children and you have the opportunity to get to know the other guests.
Is there a catering business at Warredal?
Warredal does not have its own catering facility. We promote cooking in your cabin. Feel free however to order a breakfast basket or a barbecue package. You can find restaurant recommendations in our information brochure. De Spar and Delhaize supermarkets are located in Neeroeteren center, approximately 5 minutes’ drive from Warredal.
How can I book activities ?
Are you interested in booking activities such as a pony ride or a day at the Adventure Park? Or do you like to receive more information about the cycling and walking trails? Drop by at the reception desk or contact us via info@warredal.be. Please note that all of our activities need to be booked in adavance. Guests receive a 20% discount in our climbing park!
How can I book the wellness?
Do you need extra pampering during your stay? At the edge of the forest, next to the pond, you’ll find a wellness area. Rent out a private sauna house or jacuzzi for two hours. Please note that the sauna and jacuzzi are located in different places at a reasonable distance from the cabins. To make a reservation, it is best to contact us in advance via info@warredal.be.
Adventure Park
Where can I find the Adventure Park
The Adventure Park is located at Warredal and the activities are spread over the entire park. Registration happend at the desk of the Adventure Park.
Where do I park my car?
When you arrive at Warredal, you’ll see a private parking lot where you can park your car for free. To enter, you can ring the bell and we’ll let you in.
Where should I register?
Upon arrival you will need to press a button to reach the front desk. After we open the gate for you, you will register at the desk of the Adventure Park. The building is located behind the parking, you can follow the arrows: “Adventure Park”.
Is the climbing park always accessible?
No. We are only open upon reservation. It is therefore impossible to step by during the day and go climbing.
How can I book?

When booking over the telephone, we always request confirmation by e-mail.
Do I have to pay an advance?
When making a reservation, we always request an advance of 20%. The remaining amount can be paid cash or by card upon arrival.
Can I receive an invoice?
You always pay on the spot but it’s possible to receive an invoice. Please send us the billing information via e-mail.
Can I find restaurants in Warredal?
Warredal does not have its own restaurant. We can open our kiosk for a drink during a team building or group activities. We also have a vending machine with snacks and drinks for visitors.
Can I request catering?
We can provide catering for groups and activities. For more information you can always contact us via info@warredal.be.
Is supervision included when climbing or during activities?
All of our (climbing) activities are supervised by our guide. It’s not possible to enter the Adventure Park unsupervised.
Can my children climb on their own?
Children younger than 12 must always be accompanied by an adult. While an adult must be present (per 5 children), he or she doesn’t need to participate.
Do I have to be with a minimum number of people to participate?
All our activities only start from a minimum of 8 participants. The price is based on that exact amount of people. If you are with a smaller group (less than 8), the fixed price remains the same. At the Adventure Park you can only climbing with fewer people if you join another group.

Can I purchase a gift voucher?
It is always possible to purchase a gift voucher for the Adventure Park at our reception. The amount can be chosen by you and it can be used for all our activities.
